If you're a rock fan and love the stories behind the music, you’ve probably heard of This Is Spinal Tap, the legendary 1984 film that brilliantly satirizes the world of rock bands. One of its most iconic scenes features Nigel Tufnel, the eccentric guitarist of the fictional band Spinal Tap, proudly showing off his custom amplifier.

During an interview, he points to the volume controls and explains that his amp is special because instead of going up to "10," it goes to "11." When asked why they don’t just make "10" louder, he confidently replies, "These go to eleven," as if that extra number makes all the difference.

This moment became a symbol of the rock mentality: always pushing things further, always taking it to the max.
